News article this morning on the BBC news site probably hasn't helped keep prices either, they're saying that Nintendo is warning of shortages for christmas due to demand. Normally I'd believe it was just publicity to ensure sales but demand has been insane for months for Wiis - I got mine back in June and there were tons in the shops.
