How on earth did you work that out ?

Blades is 100% str determined, both Elves and Luris have 40 starting str.

So blades is just the same for Elves or Luris.

44 pierce seems much too high to me for a nightshade - I use Dragonspider a lot with the ranger, but I can't see it being that useful to a shade who has CS styles to use instead.

as a assasin high weaponspec is a must. (especially against dragoninfils)

high weaponspec = more weaponskill = more succesfull hits on opponent(low weaponskill= opponent evades, u miss etc)

No, what I mean is, for a lurikeen it makes sense to only go for pierce, due to dex. As dex does not feature in blades, if you want to go blades, you can go elven if you want to. In other words, if you go pierce, have luri, if you go blades, go elven if thats what floats your boat Personally I wouldn't go blades or elven tbh

Aye but with pierce at 37 you can modify it to 50 by rr2 and the returns on pierce over 50 are not so great as to warrant losing spec points in other lines for it, imho

i got 67 thrust atm. 1090weaponskill unbuffed, 1490ish buffed.

i _do_help_alot imo ( not dmg wise, but evade more, more succesfull hits etc)

I know a blades luri that does just fine, probably better than a lot of pierce luris.

And i wouldnt go luri, i have this thing about not wanting to look like an spaced out anerxic dwarf.

Luris have two advantages over Elves, having an extra 5 dex/qui .. Elves having the extra 10 Int which really does nothing for a Shade.

Also being smaller makes them harder to spot/target whatever.

The only disadvantage is looking like "a spaced out anorexic Dwarf"..

According to the new description of Nightshades on the Herald,

While not physically as imposing as the other assassins of the realms, those elves and Lurikeen who choose to walk down the Way of Stealth and follow the Path of Essence depend on their quick reactions, stealth, speed and sharp wit to combat the enemies of the Hibernian Realm.

Maybe the +10 int, gives us better wit

But no you are correct the +int has no effect atm, altho it is being looked into, so maybe patch 1.88 it might be useful.

Aw I'm suprised at you luri bashers! I love my little luri, I think they are great If I could have had a luri bard, I would have done heheheh
I say go for luri cos they look cool, especially climbing keep walls ...... ooo and we can hide in graves and stuff ..... and people always underestimate you ....... and then die heheheh
