I totaly agree mate. but i must add two things.

1. SOme of the kind people that buffed me gave me a brain buff (maby need one tho)

2. Its natural to record with SL up. I use SL, enemy pops, ill press record.. Its lagging like crazy while frapsing and my hard drive wont let me record 3-15 minutes clips just to wait for the perfect fight to be recorded.

indeed @ point 2, never took that into account, would need a monster hdd to have fraps running all time.

Dunno, im not using fps meter. Im used to 100 fps or so. So when u drop alot its very enoying, still playable ofc

Should be better if you buy Fraps and DL the last edition of the program.

Actualy no thats not true, since that was the first thing i tought aswell so installed it, Still didnt work (worked fine on my other comp tho with only vidx) Had to install that wmv codec from microsoft to get it working. I think its some bug or something since i got Win XP on both comps and only had to install the wmv codec on one of them to get it working, np at all on the other and got same coedcs etc installed.

With Fraps 2.0 I drop from 100 fps to like 15 and all I know is that i refuse to play like that. Guess Vid-out -> Digital Camera is the way to go if to record without lag.

Using fraps 2.2.5, and yes fps drop from around 90 to 20-22. Got athlon xp 2400 mhz, 1gb ram , radeon x800 and a WD 40 gb hd.
Im sure its becuz cpu power are shared between daoc.exe and fraps.exe....Imo if u setup Raid 0 you will get alot better results.

hehe with fraps 2.2.5 I could dual log and record in 1.68 and still be over 20fps. Now I can´t even dual log though

if u want 100 fps with fraps then u just need a 10k tr hdd
and eroa i just installed vidx ffdshow and never had to download any codec for years then ur comp have some serious problem ;o (maybe its time to re install win ^^)

When i read the reply`s to this movie, i was looking forward to a cool movie with good music ( not the useal heavy-pounder ) some nice fights, some fun scenes and good intro + a nice ending.

I got it all !!

Did u do all editing on Windows-Moviemaker or did u use other programs as well??
