Funny how things fuck up when you quit your job. I was supposed to be paid today by baccs this morning even before they knew I had resigned. My new year has now been fucked. Heads up to the government department that ruined both my xmas and new year. I still haven't had a p46 from them either, incompetence at an immeasureable level. Now I am glad I quit.

im not surprised you have not been paid, with all the Holidays, it slows banks down and that inc Baccs(Baccs is like a check it still needs 3 working days to clear), you will get your money Wednesday, Thursday I would think.

Baccs is insta, note to urself, i asked this morning at my bank and they confirmed it And I got my pay slip last thurs so...

If you say so, I used to do HR/Wages for a living so unless they have changed it in the last 2 years then your bank in talking shit unless(they are using the baccs system from your bank) other wise it TAKES 3 days.

But if you got your payslip last Thursday (which is when the baccs would have been done) I agree you should have been payed by now, but I still think you will get it on Wednesday/Thursday this week from personal experance

It always surprises me when people base their entire lives around payday and are completely unable to function that first morning when the money isn't available.

Just assume that you'll get paid 2 days later than you think you actually will and never have this problem ever again.

Undys got it right, Bac's take 3 days to show onto your account from the day the send it. Its mostly to alow time for recals in the event of a mistake.

I was due to be payed around the 25th, but because work are nice, and like most other businesses that pay people around that date, they payed us all a week early. Just means we have like 6 weeks till next pay day, thank god for savings eh

On the upside, I didn't blow £50 on a day out on the beer, although it was a close thing I went out at all. Think I will choose my employer more carefully next time ;s
