NICE relic raid attempt HIPPIES

Confusion in /as caused a rather slow response,
88hibs spotted at nottmoor area 2 secs after 80ish were at bledmeer. (guard count)

4mins after relic carrier ran out from grallar, by a trembling wee hib luri. (atleast the relic was beside a luri)

Mids started to tear the grallar force to pieces.
At the same time we had 84 mids at HMG, fast response and a heads up to GoV for being there first with 1fg+
By the time relic carrier were at HMG i would say the count were 100+ but that is unconfirmed.
At that time 100More were inc and alot of those in Jamtland mts.
within 10mins after relic had gone neutral i would say about 160ppl were at hmg, and 100ish were in yggdra tearing luri flesh and stomping elfs.

The tactic were good, but we expect it from now on, and wont take it so lightly.


And very shortly after relic keep doors were in mint condiction, infact i used the bone from a dead elf to carve the pattern on the door.

P.S the hippie stomping HMG - HTK was awesome btw 7fg+ hibs stomped and crushed by the mighty MID blitz.

Oh and yes ofc alot of spies told us very early that is why noone but 9ppl where there when u bashed in 3rd door, that is all the ppl in midgard.

NO no spies, if there was i would have made it my INGAME lifes goal to get them banned from game and all mid guilds forever.

I was almost sure we lost the relic when we came to hmg at saw alot of hibs at mid side.. we were amongst the first mids to hmg. And then 3-4min later Courtina says in /as that she found the relic next to a dead lurikeen

Hibs first relic attack today was at 10am CET - same time midgard took 3 str. relics from Alb.

A couple of saturdays ago, hib had a relic raid where they took keeps first, also at 10am CET.

So it is excatly the same time

Why censi with the relic? and from what i can gather above he tried to transport it to hib solo ? is he really that stupid?

i thought censi was somebody who knew what to do on big raids and know how to follow who's leading.. if he grabbed relic and ran solo . that IMO is the actions of a lvl10 newb who is on his 1st rvr raid ever ....


Gratz to the mids btw for defending. we dont want hibs to hav the pow relics . we'd much rather mid has them "no point alb having em cos we cant keep hold of em" .. so keep defending those pow relics from hib and be ready for a inc alb zerg to your st relics soon )))

Actually Yoda, my point is Albion should join the relic raid's too, not sit on the side line posting comments from a peanut gallerey with absolutely no idea what went on. In other words, get involved in the game besides flocking to emain, to run around like clueless chickens wondering where the opposition is.

Yes Splashor, I can post positives things, like the fact that we were owned at HMG, but the RR was not conquered by superior mid tactics, skills or numbers. It was a stupid mistake we made that lead to the recapture of the relic. Your defense at HMG was solid, we were well owned. Besides, that post was made before the relic was recaptured and there was still a chance that we could have got it back.

You also saw that primetime relic raids are possible, without crap excuses. You may have the relic, but I think we won a moral victory.

Lastly, I see no well tried or well done for the attempt from you...could this be a case of pot-kettle-black?

As for why it's beneficial to Albs for you to have NOT taken the relic it is as follows.

Albs can and will only ever hold for any length of time, the strength relics, not the power ones for obvious reasons of snowdonia relic keep placement. As it stands Mids have 5 relics and therefore have a very low relic guard pop so it will b a lot easier to take the relics now then it would have been had the hibs have taken one of their relics. Also we would rather Midgard as a weaker realm have the power relic then Hibs. If the choice came of helping the hibs capturing the relic by killing a mid or vice versa, I would kill the hib cause I don't want them to have 800 dmg pbaoe back in as a regular thing (yes midgard have the same pbaoe or better but its not in abundance).

Think thas bout all why, anyways, don't try look for the bad in people all the time else you will end up a very paranoid person <j/k>

I know exactly why it's not beneficial to Albion when Hibs hold relics, but can you explain to me why it is not beneficial to Albion to have relics?

We try every weekend, sometimes twice a weekend, we try in the week, we plan, we take keeps. We send people to bash on doors at 3:30am to check keep levels etc...

All the while, there is a sea of tin cans running around emain killing giant badgers and granny's, naturally we begin to question whether you guys even play the same game as us. I could understand if you were getting RP's, but you not because all the hibs and mids are in a completely different zone.

Has Albion even attempted to get a keep in Midgard since they took the strength relics, have you set up a Corpse Summoner, have you done anything?

My point is relatively easy to grasp, don't clap hands and watch balls while the other 2 realms play tennis, get involved. Maybe port to Midgard (GASP!) try get a CS, get out of emain - get some sun, go to breifine...see if you can all go to Scathaig without being AFK etc.

all 3 doors were knocked down during prime time. the hib relic was taken back and was being transported to htk. The carrier was intercepted 5 minutes outside the relic keep and the relic was taken back. The mids then annihalated the rest of the hib forces.

I think I have a pretty clear clue as to what's going on .

and as for my siggy, I agree with it completely. I hate hibs. What's your point? You don't exactly seem Lovey-Dovey about albs either.

Conclusion: Alb is in a depression atm, as we lost the relics our (well, most of alb anyway, I'm not really bothered by it) morale has decreased. More alts are appearing, and more PvE action in general (dungeons etc) is going on.

In otherwords:

We're having fun with the game. Who gives a damn about relics, we'll get them later. Relics aren't everything. I'm paying 10$ a month to have fun, and that's exactly what I'm doing.

Its worth to be said again and its really the only truth and end of the disscusion/raid.

Hib did a really nice raid! It should have worked, if they had done it non-primetime they would have succeded. Mids where lucky this time and espiacially Courtina who found the relic. As u say we have 25% of original uber guards and have a really rough time to defend out relics! But atleast i find it quite fun and i hope other mids do. We will make you fight for it, but in a few weeks, maybe even days, someone will have stolen relics from us! My guess is hibs since albs seem to be in need of some organising first. And when we loose them i wont cry about it, i will enjoy it! This is what makes the game fun, not what makes me whine!

Well done hibs, nice attempt indeed!

Since mids have 5 relics there are significantly less überguards so basically you can just go and get them whenever you get a nice zerg with some rams.

May it be that albs want to try quality relic raids rather than a quantitative of relic raids, but hibs are doing the smart thing. You know you have to act quickly because once Midgard has lost 1 or 2 relics it will be real hard to get the others.

We know we can't hold all of them forever but we'll sure enjoy them while we can

And guys... maybe you should scout some routes for the relic carrier free from aggro and such

Midgard captured the relics off peak and can defend them offpeak just like this morning against hibs. About 9 am hibs had rams up at grallar, ten minutes later 60 mids were in yggdra. So no more whine about off peak raids.

There was no spying involved at all.
The first we knew about your relic raid was when you attacked graller and we started getting report's back of 100+ ppl killing guard's.
The call went out on /as and we responded.
It's as simple as that.

It's very beneficial for albs to have the strength relics, that is why we are working on it. At the moment it is not beneficial for us to have the power ones too but give it time and co-ordination will make it all the simpler to be able to keep power relics as well. We have not been organising relic raids straight afterwards as we are waiting for the whole new fad of SI isles and necro/reavers to ease down else we wont get enough interest. As Trin said, Albion in general has been in a decline but when you are knocked for six you give time for recouperation before getting back up. This is exactly what we are doing. We will organise relic raids with precision and in mass when we are good and ready so unless a spy spots us, we will not be able to be stopped hopefully

You try every weekend etc you say well if you have then each of the raids before this can't have been done too well to not even be moaned about (tho if so bad why there been no moaning threads? hehe). And also to not have been successful.

As for the reference to me not going to odin's, look at some of my previous posts about success in odin's and these are far from being the only times I have been there. Perhaps you have not been there so often if you have not seen me there? Or maybe you are just thinking I don't go there because you haven't seen me there.

Albs at the moment are far from perfect but various factors are leading to us becoming a far better realm then that which we are today. Give us time
