Nice motorbikes

Hi, just want to know some nice motorbikes that u can get when ya 17 and when ya 18 ( 33.3 BHP ? ) like restricted 600's and stuff. Some nice links to pictures too would be nice.

I am 16 and just go meself a Aprilia RX 50

When your 16 you have to get 50cc restricted to 50km (33mph) but mine is deresticted

when 17 you can only get a 125cc, if you do a CBT you can ride round with L plates and withour a passanger, to get rid off L plates and to take people you have to do a full license or somethin, as for 600's don't think you can get them at 17

not sure about 18, i think its 125 till ya 21 not sure though, all depends on car liscense as well

i have an RG 500 in my mums garage
with a maxton back shock - zx 10 back wheel
and 2 extra teeth on the rear sprocket
did all the gearbox mods myself
ie, reverse dogs on the gears
it's not that fast ( it's relative ) but it gets up to speed
like a qw rocket.

my old rd 350 lc with a 375 ypvs motor is
good fun, it's on 250 gearing ?.

33.3 bhp ? if it's your first bike get an old z250 , a cbr600, my wee brother has one. would be a dangerous machine with only 33 bhp , f*** knows how you would get it to pull out of a corner.

To get on the road at all with a bike, you need to take your CBT (Compulsory Basic Training).. a short one-day basic safety course which you basically cant fail.

The laws for motorcycle engine sizes are these:

Aged 16: A bike with an engine smaller than 50cc, and restricted to 30mph.

Between 17-21: Bikes with an engine upto 125cc, but you must take your test on a 125cc bike. Once you've ridden a 125cc for two years with a full license, you can ride any size.

Over 21: You can go straight for any sized engine, and get an unrestricted license straight away (you'll need to take your test on something above 500cc tho).

Most schools do advanced rider training too, which is *WELL WORTH IT* honestly.

Forgive me if i'm going over stuff you already know, but i'm a big believer in motorcycle safety -- i've seen too many mates end up in hospital for long periods with stuff broken I didn't even know you could break

Pass a CBT first then it's 50cc when 16, 125cc at 17. Can't ride with passangers until you pass your full test and you have to display L plates.
You can ride anything at 21 as long as you have 3 years riding experience or have taken a direct access course.

Me's currently at the thinking about passing my test b4 uni as my cbt runs out this year (thats a point, cbt's are only valid for 3 years)

Only 48 what is it?

Me aprilia RX 50 does 90km (58mph) and was still goin faster down me road, i have to wait till the 25th july till i can ride "legaly" thats when i am doin me CBT

i can get about 60 + down a hill

and 48 is FAST when ya only allowed to go 30

just had to fix the fucking thing today. Started, went out car park, full throttled it and all i get is spluttering. Had to get a plug spanner and wire brush to get the plug out and brush it, did it again earlier, just dies out. Got a new plug in and "hope" that it starts tommorow. Damn things

Yeah i do want a car, all i said was NICE BIKES, caus i will get one again sometime.

i know there are one that do 60, but dont see the point in needing that speed when ya in a town anyway, and u can wait till 17 for one that does 130 mph

Yours is fully derestricted ?, mines only partially, the exhaust is done, the clutch aint, so it doesnt fully engage, if it dod, then itll prolly easily do 60 on a straight

When i had my rg500 my m8 got his tuned and bored, it was that ferocious on the powerband it was almost dangerous!
Used to blow away GSXR1100's on acceleration like it was entering warp speed!
I used to love leaving slip roads on mine from a standing start and pushing my weight back in the seat to be greeted by a self gratifying power wheelie

I wish i still had my rg

Then theres my old 500LC, the sound of that V4 was sex on wheels - best sounding bike ive ever ridden or seen.
