Since when do Armsmen get see hidden ? Since when is it possible to see me at clipping range with 54 stealth ?

Explanation please.

stealth is level-based aswell...


if your lvl 50 with 54 stealth and they didnt run 'thru' you or very close, then its wierd....



but im sure they saw 'something', pbaoe:ed THEN slammed.

Dont worry, both these guys have played high-lvl infils they know how to hunt down stealthers and in this case, they were lucky as well

Well I could say you got owned, but you seem pretty genuinely upset

I will tell you what we saw, cos it isn't how you describe it.
I (Paladin not arms), Myddrin 50 ice wiz, and Fishi, 50 scout, had just been having huge fight outside mid keep (lost track of where the heck we were). I had just fought 2 SB's when they caught up with me, so we were looking for stealthers, cos any non stealthing mids were dead.

_All_ 3 of us, in group chat said SB, when we saw you, yes, around clipping range, running _unstealthed_, and then stealth.

I ran round of the back of a tree you were heading toward, and ran right on top of you, I hit my slam, before Mydd pbaoe'd, and the buggy part for me, was that you disappeared halfway thru my slam, but it still connected, uncovering you stunned. Then Mydd blew you to hell and back .

If you genuinely think I am cheating, feel free to msg Rightnow, and I can bring half of Albion out in my defence to say I am not, you were very very unlucky in this instance. If you say you were stealthed the whole time, then that is genuinely not what we saw, we saw you running unstealthed, at normal speed, and then stealth.

Yes Mydd and I do have high level Inf's, but you just got unlucky.

Asori doesn't cheat.
Clearly you're upset but making accusations of that nature isn't the best way to deal with it. If you suspect him then report him to a GM. Making a public accusation on a board will neither solve the problem if he was cheating nor help your rep if he wasn't.

People should really have all the facts at their disposal before making such strong accusations. How about an apology?

BTW you gimped your toon ending up with 54 stealth at RR2 (guessing Ability is the Shade); actually 54 stealth is gimped full stop unless you are RR9. Adds further credence to the argument that we have a noobshade that can't hold up his hand and say "yes, I fucked up". Life is a little trickier playing a stealther than simply stun, nuke, nuke, nuke

Thanks for the reply Asori, seems I was owned, by some form of bug.
I was running in stealth ALL the way from the previous keep, as I knew Albs were about.
Just seemed really dodgy that you ran towards me then just slammed me immediatly.
Sorry for jumping the gun a bit :/

I had just previously died at Nottmoor due to another fking bug, got stuck in the fort bit on the side of the keep Had to unstealth and let Albs kill me to get out..

there is a bugg now , you can actually see stealther pop at clipping range( when they are stealthed) then they just dissapear.

This is a very similar bug to the one which makes you visible when hidden inside a tree . The game actually draws you b4 the tree , and i'm guessing its drawing your char b4 the stealth part kicks into the viewing range

IT's lvl based only as far as ppl detecting you lvl is important, your's aint if your stealth is 50 no matter if your lvl 46 with 50 stealth

It might be a bug.
I was at the amg up the hill on the alb right side and I (as my lvl 47 cleric) could see a stealthed alb at clipping range.
This has only happened once.

So far I have only seen albion infiltrators pop into shady view at full clipping range but I guess it could very well work for other relams stealthers too

I spotted Talen (lvl50 infy with 49? stealth) at near clipping range, I thought I had mistaken him for a scout (and spotted him with see hidden), about 7 seconds later he became properly stealthed and I couldn't see him anymore, heard about it, but never seen it happen before.

People dont lose target from you instantly after you stealth, if a caster is already casting a spell etc it will land, and meleers can still land a hit on you (even though you must be out of range to stealth in the first place had it happen the other day at mmg, 3 stealthers right by me, i unstealth, sprint away a bit, restealth, get whacked by axe immediately, on my screen he was well out of melee range, and the log says that I stealthed etc, latency is grate )

If it makes you feel any better I just did exactly the same thing to a norse SB on Sauvage road, except he was just running away having ganked a poor scout.

He stealthed just before I taunted him, I ran over him (bad stealth, whole group said so....), saw him, slammed him......

Sometimes I can see stealthed assassins walking around half way down clipping range. I don't know how or what happens, as I don't have TS or anything. Obviously a bug and if only I knew how to activate it

Heffer pf the Rigante/alb/pryd here, i play with Asori a lot infact i know the guy in real life, he would never cheat in his life, and when jsut us 2 group we can accomplish great things! Asori simply has a great spec with good RA's, the whole thing with stealther being drawn out and being visible for a set amount of time at clipping range is a typical goa/mythic creation....i.e crap as many here have said Asori is a genuinly great player (heh not a lot of them around) and it's good of you to apologise for the flames, id like to say ncie one to Asori too but ...well....i dont want his head swelling too much ingame hehe!
anyway hopefully the bug gets sorted and Asori can gank your sorry arse when you attempt attacking him, if your brave enough! lol!
never had a stealter higher than thid but c'mon 54 stealth!?
