Doom bar is great. Had a few pints of it last night as it's becoming more widely available. I always tend to go for a beer which I've never had before when I visit a new pub or shop with a decent real ale selection.

A couple of other other favourites are
Blandford Fly (Badger brewery) - Slightly spicy but not to the extent of a ginger beer.
Expresso Stout (Dark Star brewery) - Serious Coffee flavour. Don't drink this and expect to taste any other beer very well afterwards. This tends to be my go to as the last beer at a beer festival. That or another strong stout such as Triple Chocolate or Imperial.

Doom Bar is super. Only really available through Ocado where I am.

I enjoyed Spindrift over the summer (Adnam's lagery beer) but it's chilly again now so back onto proper beers.

I drink a lot less beer than I used to as I don't head to the pub that often these days (no good ones near me) + I spent my whole time surrounded by wine so tend to have that!

I have a bottle of Fullers vintage 2005? I'm keeping in my wine store that I need to have one day.

It's all about the erdinger for me. Never tried it before going to France, where it appeared to be on tap everywhere. Lovely and light wheat beer
