Nextmap - WTF?

OK so the map ends, lots of people start typing 'gg' all over the place, someone always types 'nextmap'. Why the fuck do they do that? I know the next map is coming, the scoreboard is there without being asked, and the word 'loading' is in the middle of the screen. A bit of a give away.

some servers will actually tell everyone on the server what the next map is if you type "nextmap" in as chat...

Its called adminmod.

BW dont have it, and thats probably a good thing not a bad thing.

The problem with adminmod is...it gives a couple of very useful features - but then adds a load of useless features.

Good features include the ability to give access levels - which stops admins from fiddling with server settings while still retaining their ability to kick

However it also lets admins cheat and do annoying things.

Although it is open source so if someone wished to edit it to be sensible they could

Sometimes if u type nextmap in some servers, like UK2 ones the server will automatically say the next map on the list so if someone doesnt like it they can fuck off
