For anyone that needs it, the 1.4 version of the names fix for retail Counter-Strike is now available on www.nextwish.org. It does work, Ive tried it !
Also there is a 13 mb download called CS Retail fix. Now as far asI was aware there was nothing wrong with my cs, but the other day I tried to download a map call bank or summat for a game with Itchy, and it said it could load n0thing.wad.
Now i noticed the retail fix has this, so I expect theres other thinfgs missing we dont even know about !
Well I installed it and it certainly hasn't done any harm so give it a go maybe ?

I'm on mod version though throddy and I couldn't get that map working either, I am gonna download that update just in case.Thanks dad.

lol, you do know that the 1.3 version of the "Name Fix" works on 1.4

The old version didnt work for me gray. Well, it did, it changed the names, but then my cs kept crashing so I deleted it, then no more crashing.
This new hasnt crashed the program at all.
