Why only yesterday .... having watched a John Wayne film.... I immediatly ran outside into the back garden and formed a circle with the patio chairs.

These things are not produced for there entertainment value. No, they are produced as training aids so people can kill more efficiently.

Pedantic really but that says to me that the kid killed the attendant ..and then the game he was playing ended in tragedy. Obviously not that good at video games in the first place.

To answer your question about the age rating (the first suspect part of this report) is mature rating, 16 - 18 depending on where you are.
Secondly, it was 5 of them, beating the shit out of 1 boy (second suspect bit).
Thirdly (The real kicker here) and I quote "The detained could not say whether the victim was dead when he was thrown in the river. Rescuers had not yet found the body." This means tht the cold blooded little bastards disposed of there friends remains without even checking to see if he was actually dead in the first place.

Id say this is a case of peer presure more then anything... i cant completely tell from the evidence they have given us but id be more to question that it was the older kids of the party that actualy did the horendous act.... The thing that annoys me is why do they always attack the game industy on violent games? i tend to belive that games relive pressure that builds up in you..

Sure they deserve a lesson. But what is a lesson good for if they cannot learn it?

Although I'd really say that some video games aren't good for kids, I doubt that it would be the main reason behind it but merely an excuse. Hell I don't see anyone running around with a bastard sword killing people in England because they are the bad Albs who make war on him... well perhaps no one except Al Quaida, still I haven't seen anything about them in GB, and they usually tend to use explosives and automatic guns. Still I doubt THEY have been influenced by Command and Conquer, Counterstrike or any other video game involving terrorists.
