newbie training

Just a thought but there should be a newbie training server. Peeps can mail someone, explain that they are a newb (like me) and get some tips from all yooze leetheads. Maybe 1 evening a week? See, peeps are always giving tips but on the pubs its way too hard. I end up storming round a map getting blown away.

doh ive forgotten it again but some other GREAT games service has a server for CS training..you get kicked if you get like 10 kills and 0 deaths

nah its ok over there. just been playing on their servers and i'm doing pretty good. no lameasses complaining about cheating

Lol, i was on thier servers about a month back trying to teach one of my friends how to play. You can't get something like 10 frags before the 'police' come along and put you in jail. (boot you)

The sad things is there were a load of cheats on there. There was one guy who obvious had a wall hack and auto aim. What was even worse is he had a script so that he wouldn't get booted after he got too many frags. Now that is sad!! Trying to look good in a beginners server.

Being the internatinal man of mystery i took it upon myself to kick his arse I propmtly got booted for getting too many frags. DOH


Oh well. Plus the adminbot gives you 'helpful' hints everynow and then. Like where to position yourself and when to rush or defend. I suppose it is quite a good idea.

I think the trouble with making a newbie server you still wouldnt get that many newbie punters.
Im sure im not the only one who used the in game server browser to find servers. Then I found out that I can punch in server IP's into gamespy and things alive.

I noticed when I first started out on TFC that it said 1000-2000 servers available. Nowadays its says 10000 servers, probs even more as I really havent looked tbh.

Well uk2 were the first to do it, a newbie server is a good ide.

nice there is one somewhere.

I doubt it could teach u much though, you still be owned on the real pubbies. Still betetr learn controls there than pubbiers

I cant stand their servers odd map cycles.

Some maps never get a chance, and too many are over played.
