Newbie groups, and why i want to garrote the little cunts!

Just started playing my Paladin to get a few levels, got to level 8 pretty much alone as you do.

Then comes the Mithra Plains grouping bit...
Now from what i remember of my first character oooh about 6 moths or so ago, this bit was frustrating for some reason which i couldt quite put my finger on.

Suddenly it comes back to me in front of my very eyes...
GROUPS DONT LAST MORE THAN 5 SECONDS TOPPS.

one pull someone dings, off they go.
get replacement, half party whines to get on with it.
One guy leaves because he's getting 'no xp' chain killing oranges in a group.
carry on regardles, bad pull everyone dies. Cleric gets hump on leaves group disbands.

rinse wash repeat.

How the [beeeep] do people think they are going to get past level 10 nevermind get to 50.
it's people like this who realy wind me up.

I leveled my first char when the server started, no problems there, more than enough groups...(highest char on server was around 35 when i started)

When i leveled my infil i noticed things were VERY different and groups were not what they used to be... so i decided to solo to 50 with my infil... no problems, he's been 50 for awhile now.

Try to find a good PvE guild? Solo more? Get a buffbot? Plenty of options...

There are lots of good groups still... just dont expect to find them in Mithra.

that or get lucky

or only group with people from guilds you know and like...

refuse to group with impatient people - make sure to growl at people that leave on ding.

I know what you mean - but there are groups out there that work...

Kill task are undeniably fast, But if you with a good low level guild group you can have some serious laughs.

If you're for levelling pace though its PLing or KT's all the way

Till 20 is grouping annoying, hell yeah.

My friar solo'ed mostly from 1-43

And I love it. Money is better (do from 15-30 in DF and you got your first plat at lvl 30 if you don't buy too much crap); you cannot be annoyed by whiners in your group.

You know EXACT how fast you level, you die about 10^6 less and XP is not great, true, but it's not bad..

I am on 11 days with lvl 43,6. RR2 and 500 tailoring. And I NEVER got terribly annoyed and frustrated by my new character.

Sure I am gonna group up, but I already noticed grouping in AC looks like grouping in Mithra: Groups lasts 15 mins and fall. Perhaps it gets better when peeps don't ding within 1,5 hour there, but still..

Get a necro guildy to PL you.

I used a guildy's necro to PL my armsman

went from 11 to 21 in 3 hours.
