Evening

I made 1 new year resolution even before the new year had started.

Give up smoking. So far I have not had a ciggie since I went to bed New Years Eve (well day). Used to smoke 20 a day, not had a craving, sat in a pub for 4 hrs with smokers and didnt fancy it. Fucking awesome.

Apart from that, business as usual, ie beer, sex, watching bollox, going out still stands :)

1) Quit smoking (cigarettes and.....other stuff)
2) Gain more weight, become more healthy
3) Do work in school, rather than just going and not listening
4) Get me a girl

2 and 4 are going pretty good...I had my last cigarette in the house this morning (so that resolution starts now ;)), and we'll see about 3 tommorow :(

Edit: It'ld be interesting to see cigarette sales in January...I bet they go down in the first couple of days (New years resolution people giving up), and then go back to normal again (New years resolution people giving in ;))

1) Sort my life out. College/Future career etc
2) Work at college to get good results, in line with number 1.
3) Join a gym and get into a bloody fit state.

mine

1. Quit drinking (if I can stop myself going on the weekend long vodka ones I'll be happy)

2. No more cake - vending machine right outside my office, must learn that being board is not an excuse to eat

3. More exercise - i used to be fit, healthy and look good for it. now my 6-pack is all but gone, and I have trouble doing things like, well walking. unacceptable

4. No more bloody porn - filth is not the easy solution to being too lazy to make any relationship work.

5. Less crazy working hours - not stop loving my job, cos I cannot do that, but not work every evening for no real reason

All very difficult to keep, but time to try and focus.

1) Don't post pictures you think are really funny and take the piss, because other forum users won't agree :p

I saw something on Breakfast the other day about Health Club and Gym membership numbers soaring at the start of January and then petering off towards the end of the month. It's a real boomtime for them and they take as full advantage of it as they can. :)

1. Pass OASC
2. Drink my way thru IOT
3. Failing that, move to New Zealand with the parents.

Mine are about getting organised:

Get provisional driving licence (forms)
Get summer job application filled in (forms)
Apply for a student grant (from Danish Government.... more forms)
Join the gym (more forms :D ) and go once a week. Atleast.

My dad had a new years resolution 2 years back - no drinking for a year. Him being Irish, I thought it very unlikely that he would succeed. Well, he did, to the amazement of everyone in the family (and the the annoyance of my mum, who then had to drink on her own).

1) Get really drunk more often ( first time ever I Wasn't the most drunk at new year).

2) Goto gym (I'm a fat bastard)

3) Pass driving test (and a lazy one).

4) Get proper job (and a poor and unhappy one).

:D

I swear my virginity is growing back.

Anyway I don't really need to make a new years resolution this year. Maybe to sort my spending out and definitely get a new job but apart from that. I accomplished all my major ones last year. i.e. no longer a fat bastard and am now fitter and healthier that i've ever been.

My resolutions are to get a new job, and get my bike changed over to a single gear with slicks. The two are not unrelated, as I'm thinking of becoming a cycle courier.

1) Pass Driving Test
2) Buy Nice Car with savings
3) Attempt to get everyone to call me by my middle name, rather than my first name, for the next year.
