So come on, what did you spraff that you'd do differently, change, do or start doing in 2007?

Mine were:

Be a better boyfriend,
Stop shouting/beeping at people on the road,
Go contracting before i'm settled,
Go on a lads holiday,

To go down the pub less than 5 nights a week on average. My head hurts.

Eat more sensibly (ie. healthy choices instead of junk food).

To not spend the entire spring/summer/autumn pedalling my arse off getting really fit on the bike doing about 100 miles a week only to stop for a couple of months and put a stone of fat on.

Also to remember 2006 well, because it was a shit year and I don't like making the same mistakes twice :(

No resolutions, I'll carry on doing what I want. You'll be happier that way than trying to stick to promises you aren't really going to keep anyway.

I might stop drinking but thats too easy.

The hardest thing I want to try and do this year is go to the dentist, its pretty important right now as I have tooth ache, just need to get my head round the fear of going.

1) When I get in from work - not to waste my life playing video games and generally arsing about.

2) I can't do the lose weight thing as I've already lost 6.5 stone so my resolution is not to put any on (unlikely as I haven't in 2 years, but it's important to me anyway).

3) Get over my fear of flying. The thought of this resolution fills me with fear.

4) Work Harder. I do what is required and only a little more. I know that I could easily put in another 40 - 50% extra effort.

5) Control my finances better. I am a different person when it comes to finances, especially when compared to this time last year, but I know I can do better.

6) Read more non-fiction. Self explanatory really. I love reading but I tend to leave the popular science unread and fill my time with russian penguins and crazy pilots during world war 2.

7) Play more sport. I used to fill my spare time going to the gym which is a monumental waste of time (imo) and turns you into a boring spaz. Sports are much more fun and infinitely more sociable.

I have more but these are the biggies.

2) Learn PHP/CSS/HTML/C#/C++ (Any)
3) Keep losing weight
4) Get a job (Top Prio atm)
5) Read more
6) Finally move out.
7) Not take my friends to A&E again.

A few additionals;

Fix my room up to be something i'm prouder of (wires trailing everywhere and just a general mess from hoarding).

Try to be more frugal and not piss away money on crap.

Save more money for rainy days/the future whatever it may bring.

i had that fear, then that fear turned into needing root canal surgery for over a year.

after the first 3 or 4 visits you soon stop worrying.

so i suggest go now if you really dont like it :p

Its root canal that gave me the fear :(

That is the most uncomfy thing I have ever gone through, I think I need it again with the toothache I have now :(

Vodka may help.

The root canal didn't hurt for me, it just took ages and the amount of needles he stuck in my mouth was a bit unnerving. :(

The extractions hurt like a bastard though.

For one of mine he had to cut the gum to get it out. He said "put your arm up if it hurts", I nearly dislocated my shoulder it went up so fast. :(

Jesus dude, someone already tried that joke early on. It sucked then and it still sucks.

And for my last new years resolution I will try to stop moaning :)

After giving up smoking 18 months ago JBP and I are doing the lose weight and physical fitness this year and beyond.

Others will be to finally finish my exams and to pass my driving test.

I have huge aspirations for us to be out of debt soon. We have been working on that for a few years and we are nearly there, about 18 months to go. We will then be able to look at buying a house *Grins*.
