Anyone know what this part on the EU site is?

Tutorial & New Starter Towns Pack

The Tutorial & New Towns graphics pack enables you to install a tutorial that introduces the first gameplay features to beginning players. It also includes new graphics for most of the towns, except the capital cities. To install this pack it is necessary to use the "Catacombs" graphical engine.

Have they upgraded the non-capital cities?

This is an upgrade to indeed all the non-capital cities. Install it, it's nice.

you can also get these through the patcher.

Simple make 2 folders in your daoc directory

Tutorial

The patcher will then get the files on its own.
Its about 100mb in total.

There will be also so revamped graphics of the main cities themselves pics of mid city can be seen on the goa page.

The towns are remodelled, Mularn, Cotswold and the hib equivalent are all nice n bling now in catacombs stylie.

Yep, I recomend it warmly, a very nice facelift to the old world areas.

well i started a new char on each realm there, just so i could play around the snazz new graphics
