New to Mid

Hello peeps
I recently started in Mid after playing both alb and hib, been exploring the exciting new lands with my now lvl 28 bd and lvl 23 Thane. So far it have been really great, the ppl I have bumped into have been very nice, not at all like the rumors about mid as the most rude place.

The reason Im posting this is coz I would like to get a few things cleared and I have found no /advisors online at any time.
1) How is it to lvl in the old way in mid considering grps, no bb and not alot of money?
2) How is rvr from mid point of view considering the current situation on lots of servers where mid is in big problems?
3) Guilds any friendly guilds out there, where you actually see ppl on /gu and who is recuiting atm.. I was wondering to see how it goes and who I meet on my exping way, but it gets very lonely in the late hours even tho I got my army of pets

Or if anyone have other advice regarding a total newbie in mid

Hello Kaimwen and welcome to Midgard

First of all, I find it very strange that you havent been able to see any advisors online. I have all my characters flagged as advisors. Also when I frequently check the list I see atleast 3+ online.

1) I dont know the current situation. However I know that atleast some of us did it the old way once so should still be posible. Also as you might know Mythic has made it alot easier to lvl with boosted exp and free lvls. Catacombs will be launched in March (following GOA's latest statement) which will make it even more easier.

2) I RVR every day and do just fine. Midgard only have a problem when we are talking about RR. Its hard to match Albions high population.

3) I dont know with guilds, most a friendly. Last time I checked Ordo Malleus were still recruiting. They have some nice chaps in there and is very newbie friendly (ment in a nice way /clap).

Hi mate just like you I took long version of getting settled, played mid ages, deleted went to see alb, deleted after 40+ to crowded went hib pyrd to 45 as warden 42 bard and got fed up of the green

and tada im now settled in mid, in Red Shadows, a very fun guild made of people who's main guild rule = have fun...

1 exping in mid with low cash and no bb = pretty easy tbh, even the old fashioned way (not mod baby grps) espesialy as you now get pretty much double the old exp

2 Not realy got into rvr much yet (even after 3yrs playing) what with all my sight seeing of wach realm but sure alb numbers are huge but its still fun tbh..

3 if you want a fun guild pm me as Strap and I invite you to guild, we got few players your lev and might even log my own low alt on if ya need group long as your playing for fun, not to be some leet meglomaniac you cant go wrong by joining Red Shadows....

Hi and Welcome to Midgard!

Leveling the old way in grps without bb and alot of money.. I found getting grps hard tbh, tried for a while with my lvl 26 healer but just had to give up.. was a while ago tho , dont quite know how its like now.. We never got df now after NF and alot of exp grps used to be running there, the best advice I can give you here is look for players around your level in guild to start grps with or join/arrange hunts or something. Soloing is a bit easier now also , inceased campbonus and free levels etcetra.

RvR as mid atm , well.. I cant really give you a complete answer there because I havent been RvR'ing so much lately , but reckon there are alot of mids running around in small grps , ie .. duos , trios and such. the more opted fg is mostly rvr guilds and in addition to this there is defence BG and etc where defence is coordinated. Sometimes there is alot happening in frontier , other days its mostly quiet
