Are they just milking it now or what? last couple of films got average reviews at best and weren't all that great.. heres hoping they pull it off.

I like the undiscovered country one, its been on Sci-fi channel alot the last few weeks, its how star trek should be.

You had starfleet a near completly military organsiation, evil klingons, starships getting scortch marks and battle damage, space was percieved as huge, and klingons and humans hated each other. Yes i know it was based on the cold war but thats probably why it was good

But then star trek turned into a bunch of neo ultra liberal humanitarian we are the best thing sinced sliced bread hippy scientists that use science and random technobabble to win all the situations...

Proabably the reason they want to go back to before it became all shitty

Number 4 was passable comedy I suppose.
