New server type for usa players

Hib groups will probably be best off for this server, due to the fact that they have the most buffers in-group already: typically 2 Druids (specs), 1 Warden (bases) and 1 Bard (bases). In addition, to top things off, they could also add one or more Vampiir to the damage dealer team, further reducing the buff load.

They should redo complete RA system and add in some ML's in some spec lines.


some random toughts :
Shamans should get an end chant, or the previous group end buff that cost no conc.

Charge should be like (current) charge1 max (5 points) no charge2 or 3

cure nearsight should be in spec heal lines for main heal classes

Fop/foh/cure rezz ill should be in Buff classes in the buff line. (fop for high aug(44) shaman for example)

Grapple should become an RA for some classes. grapple1 = 1minute reuse, grapple2 30secs grapple3 15secs reuse (all this after the grapple has worn off)

A form of bodyguard in all 50spec shield classes. works like 100% intercept normal damage.

rr5 abilities for zekers/mercs/bm's should be some form of ml10 banelord(banespike).

more ML stuff should trown in in high spec chars.

trow in some more fantasy idea's imo

firers have baselines, vamps are essentially fully buffed all the time (including specs) and have self haste. Sorry a friar with baselines would get torn apart by a vamp.

OF+Pre-Toa would be more than welcome .... but tbh ranged buffed will never work , ive spent weeks levelling 2x 50 droods , 1 only for use on my ranger tbh .... i aint throwing that down the drain .

Tbh its not fair on any stealth class to have to run unbuffed , take nightshade unbuffed as an example ..... they do very little damage , buffed they are a luwi tornado of pain xD

If and i mean If they do go ahead with this server they will have to consider alot <including bloodclots well thought out ideas>

Give a server like that over here and the ability to transfer our chars to it, de-artifacted and de-MLed ofcourse I think it would get kinda crowded there though... but I would never leave again

Though I could do without the buffbot changes. It would give duo'ers with a buffer for example an easy-win compared to those who duo without a buffer.

without charcopy i doubt too many ppl would move over to xp up again,and as mostly the hardcore rvr dudes would do so,who would make the armors to SC?cause i seriously doubt any1 would move over to craft up from cash they dont even have,and most importantly no1 have at all

Friars have baselines - but also spec dex/qui, spec-AF, haste-shout. All they 'need' is a str/con-buff to be the same as now.

Friars will do very well against Vampiirs in that server. Vamp has a weapon the friar is resistant to, where the friar has a crush weapon which will hurt on the Vampiir.

But vamp can do fumble shouts to even it?

5k range on buffs ? that's about 1.5x clipping range if I recall it right.

Just means that the Brynia Defenders will be buffed on the bridge, the Oriens Maintenance Squad will be buffed ... and the looser is the poor sod that dares to move away from a friendly tower/keep.

if they had set the buff range to 1k like the Mid End Buff, or 1,5k, it'd be fine, this way you shouldn't bother going anywhere as a soloer.

5k is a good range imo. The brynja defenders won't have anyone attacking them, so the action will move away from towers/keeps.

Seriously, Vampiirs will not kill this server! They will be hunted down and ganked by the GGs.

Though some alb groups use end-pots instead of paladins, so mids could do the same...

Before buffbots, when I played my infil, it was no problem to kill without buffs. Poisons/debuffs are alot more effective on unbuffed opponents and that's how rogues made their kills(unlike SBs who DF'd their way to victory ).

2x buffed characters fighting isn't much different from 2x unbuffed.

Never played either class tbh but Vamps haven't been around very long and already they are closing in on Friars realm points wise. Incidently Warlocks are < 2 million behind Friars.

A server like that needs the Catacombs classes removed imo.

Eh, this is a new server type and will thus be run on new servers, it will not be imposed on any of the old and existing ones.

Dont believe GoA will do this asswell though, ass they dont usualy listen to anybody else but their lust to work! ... else we can see forward to at least 1?year or how much before we get it to? This server could save some customers if they launch -toa+buffrange before our generation get gray hair.

I would for one choose to play on this server, but I do see _Friars/heretics/hunters/rangers/+other classes with good selfbuffs(caveshaman ftw) be alittle overpowered and then we got people whining all over again..
