They should have killed him off ages ago, its getting a bit silly.
From the trailer and the first episode it looks like he's going to do everything he can do to corrupt Alex before he shuffles off. At least the aging makeup is a bit more convincing than last season.

Man On Fire (series ffs)

About as good as you would expect, after less than 30 minutes I reached for the film, to cleanse my brain.

I cannot understand why/how it even made it to production. One of the best performances, from one of the best actors in the last 30-40 years reduced to absolute shit.

The Boys finale was a bit meh. One nice call back to the comics but otherwise a bit "is that it?"

Didn't read the comics. Sort of agree - but on the flip side I don't feel let down. It was "solid" if unspectacular.

Enjoyed the series. Much better than I thought it was going to be.

Now he needs to make Dredd 2 :)

The Boroughs. Netflix. Excellent.

Netflix seems to be not-shit at the moment, which is weird.

Absolutely brilliant.

Edit: I want to watch the 1980's version. It wouldn't fly today, but apparently they don't subtitle at the beginning - so it's just an englishman with a load of angry japanese shouting at him, and he's no real idea what's going on - until he learns the language :)

I'm old enough to remember watching that when I was a kid. Richard Chamberlain?

Even if it's shit, I'm watching.

I'd say "take my money", but despite just having a shave, I'm still too yarr, tho.

I'm three episodes in and really enjoying it. Just enough Spider-Man stuff mixed with the pure noir; they've really pulled it off so far (which I have to say wasn't a given with Sony's track record). Started watching in B&W, switched to colour for a bit and now I'm back to B&W; it's just better.

And Brendan Gleeson doing an actual Dub accent; haven't heard that for a woile.
