The men who built America: Frontiersmen.

Very good, on Amazon.

Very good, really?

First of all it's done on a shoe string budget, the scripts are terrible - one of those repeat the same thing 20 times documentaries.

It also has some half truths in it so the US looks amazing. It's pretty much propaganda, Although the one about the industrialists is probably worse... Watch it and count how many times the narrator says 'The US is the most powerful country in the world' although most historians agree that Britain was until ww1.

Good docu dramas - the Japanese one and the fall of Constantinople one.

So there was some "It's Clarkson on TV" thing on ITV this evening. Is Clarkson just now running through doing every single one of Chris Tarrent's old shows?

Shame the Sabine Schmitz TG special is only on iPlayer. No one seems to have put it out to the high seas either. Irritating.

It's really quite good and nice to see all the Top Gear presenters from all the eras she worked through

This one has potential

First 3 episodes were really good. Good so far.

I'm really enjoying it.
Actually laughing out loud to it.

So, is Vikings worth it? Is it amazing, or "OK" or "meh".

If amazing is the consensus then may start. :)

Yeah. It'll be getting watched.

It's all nonsense but Marvel seem to be able to pump out high quality nonsense :)

If you're not watching Falcon And The Winter Soldier, start watching it now.
2 episodes left and shit is about to go down.

A little but also the DM is sheer brilliance as well as it being incredibly funny - the series will be a cut down version so hopefully the group will gain traction - it will be well deserved:)

Prepare for:

  1. Laughing in public
  2. Crying
  3. Telling yourself you won't cry in public, then crying anyway.
  4. Snorting and being embarrassed because why would a laugh sound like a snort.

That's all I'm going to say.

Every time I try to start the second campaign something pulls my attention. I got to about episode 7 after 3 restarts. It's usually on if I'm not in meetings.

Use to be my daily commute thing. Obviously that's not a thing now :( It's good though! Everyone plays their new roles awesomely and Sam/Liam are great. Travis is 10x better and everyone else is as good as they were in C1.

Some sort of pod cast for D&D a-like it seems.

It's kinda 'THE' D&D podcast. Critical Role.

You say it's "THE" D&D podcast like there's fierce competition.

(please don't tell me there's fierce competition)

Drunks and Dragons is quite funny - At least, before it turned to shit somewhere along episode 200.

Few others, but I only listen to CR & Drunks.
