There were always talks that VW were going to re-launch the Corrado, and since that was the Scirocco's replacement, then i'll assume this is the result, but they have just gone back to the original name. They did it with the golf saloon, first it was the Jetta, then it was a Vento, then the Bora, and now its gone back to the Jetta again, why do they do that, why cant it just be a Golf with a boot???

They stopped the Corrado because it was going to cost too much to bring it up to spec to meet EU safety and emmisions at the time and they just weren't selling enough of them to warrant the cost

This looks nice, but it does seem like a cross between a A3 and a Vauxhall Astra
