New Router

Can anyone recommend a decent router for under £100? ours is on the blink, would be nice to future proof it so pref one that supports download speeds of up to 2gb/s - TA!

Got an old one myself netgear but does the job two band wifi and 1gb on wired. Doesnt ethernet wired cap at 1gb. Or have they got a new standard ?

From what I've read BT are meant to be upgrading all of their lines in 2017 (no idea when in 2017) so the majority of the UK will have access to 1GB/s down, so need a router that supports it. NFI about routers though.

Figured I might as well get one since mine keeps cutting out

Asus RT ACxxxx best router I have ever used. Now on the AC5300 which is a beast and great with the extender for media bridge.

Bit more than 100 GBP though although you can get a deal on the 1900's cheaper than the listed Amazon price. I only paid 100 GBP a couple of years back when I got my first Asus RT-AC.
