New relic status, mid 2 - hib 3 - alb 1

Well personnally I would kill the mid not the alb first, (if they were both currently equal life) -- exception being if the alb was an infil. Why would I do this? not because I hate albs/mids more, but simply because a mid is far more dangerous than any alb is (with the already stated exception of infils)

Frankly - we were a bit surprised ourselves - We Hibs seldom have the numbers to do sustained RK attacks, and many times yesterday we thought the 'jig was up' when spotted by a few Mids en-route.

Previous raids have been announced on IRC before now - just as they are starting - so yes we have had a few insiders blowing our cover - Real pity, but it affects most servers and realms these days (- a bit like the recent Buff Bot epedemic).

We got to the RK - no opposition whatsoever ... No complaints here.

I mean - who would be mad enough to do peak time Relic Raid...?

Thanks to the Albs who took a chunk out of the HMG camping Mids for us. You wore them down enough to allow us to bulldoze through.

We had a scary moment where the Horn decame bugged in someone's inventory, so we decided on two runs to Dun Dagda from Druim Cain - Albs put up a good fight and right after, so did the Mids - but we finally made it.

I daresay the Relic status will change soon, but Hibs are VERY determined to guard them well now.

/salute to RR co-ordinators and to all Hibs who attended.

Nice job hibbies

We were the albs you fought at the bk entrance.

First wave we beat back, then the main relic team arrived, it was like theres 30 hibs..50...erm we are all dead, erm they are STILL passing us...Jeeez how many are there..Must be the whole damn server.

Maybe the mids will get em at relic keep...

Doubt it...

What shall we do?

Release and get to emain in the hope we get some straggler mids, or they get lucky and kill the carrier....

Funny really here's some thoughts on the raid and how it could have changed.

1. At HPK we note 1 fg albs at the isalf hut. Tuo go n remove those Albs with another fg. Err sure Sax, no tanks 33 ranger/40 ranger and rest cloth mid 40's bar 2 50 druids.

Albs get removed, back to HPK.

2. At HPK one lone Mid floating, Saxif "get in the trees" we do, then Xest "3,.... 4, fg mids AMG T, shit we rumbled, let's go.

Mids go camp HMG then suicide on HPK.

3. Sax "expect usual zerg at relic keep".

4. Relic keep 0 Mids, wtf. Someone suggest another server reset due just letting us bash doors. Why did they suicide, whats in store? Expect 3000 mids HMGO.

5. More rams than I've ever seen at RK, last door took less than 60 seconds to fall from first ram up. Probably 15+ rams on it, lol. Even moi with a ram!.

6. Saxif appoints relic carrier and then we get " erk lost it from my inventory" WTF WTF is the call, relogging, NO DONT RELOG about 50 voices. Albs and Mids HMGo let's go, mezz and thru. RC through easy.

7. Relic lost somewhere, Tide logs in on port, ooh there's a horn here. Get it the cry and port.

8. Tide goes LD somewhere and Morana finds it. One relic busts through siege at Cain and safe, just one more inc.

9. Relic safe a few Mids pulled Eldies into trees and now I see one reckoning its a bug lol. There was an APK bowman at AMG a week ago, well at the grannies. That's a bug but we forgive it, nice to see an Alb so far from APK.

10. /salute all for a good night of RVR we just rewoke a sleeping Pryd.

FWIW virtually the entire realm turned out to Cain level 5-50, that's what Hib is about, teamwork.

Sure you will come and get em, but expect a fight as always.

We will be waiting.

Soooo, well done hiding in the trees and getting 15 rams up. Hiding in the trees being the more important thing that made you succeed. [MIDS: Hiding in the trees = TEH WIN. Everyone remember that for when we go and get back what's ours.]

It's true, my group aimed to cut you chaps off at HMG Odins but those lazy wiz's in Sauvage got us there too late. Had lots of fun fighting the various Hibs and Mids that were also late for the party ... including a very brave and very, very grey Firbolg spear hero who I took to 1% health in one hit.

Nice to see you guys pulling together, its a salutory lesson to one of the other realms at least...

Well the lower level guys did a cavalcade for the heroes as they passed through Cain, lining the road with arms aloft.

We didn't have very many Hibs, because we don't have very many Hibs.

As for lagfest, sure been there many times. Did you know lag is the most poweful thing on the server. :
