nah I still think CS is more fun on a LAN. And its actually playable on the internet :)

Look, fellas... is it worth me buying Half-Life? Am I gonna like CS? What puts me off is that I'm used to the performance/graphics etc of modern games and HL is like, three years old now.

Plus RtCW and Allied Assault are on their way...

you say you like OF, do you like delta force? are the previous two similar to half life? have you played the half life demo? have you tried CS? does that answer your question?:)

Gah! Never played Delta. Not really similar to HL, are they? Have completed Half-Life (though never actually *cough* owned it). Never seen or played CS.

So, no. Your questions don't really answer my questions.

Delta Force Landwarrior is sweet on the net, fantastic game, single player is one of the most poorly constructed things that has ever graced modern games but multiplayer is where it is at, once you have got passed the horrid web based browser that is.

Don't bother getting HL for CS, think CS is dying, the lastest flux of cheats is killing it (used to spend ages looking for games with a space, now there are loads of empty servers). With RTCW and all these other games I doubt CS is going to live much longer.

I especially like the look of this ghost recon game, the only thing that put me off Rainbow6 etc was the gfx and the lack of a visible gun.

Anyway, i think i am going off FPS games atm, the only fps games that appeal to me are the ones that are different from the rest, all these realistic games are pissing me off. There is only a certain amount of games you can play where you are given the same bunch of weapons (Colt, MP5 etc) and have to rescue hostages.

I am likeing RTS atm, nothing like a bit of Commandos 2 to excersize the tacticle mind.

dont get Ghost Recon. There are other games coming out soon after which will be much better
