How the feck am I gonna be able to focus on one class with SO many cool, "new" classes?

I've "narrowed" it down to Warden, Skald, PBAOE-whore, infil, rm, chanter, sorc or scout....I think...

You're a zerk I certainly learned to avoid when possible, but seems u'd not play one on PvP then?

What are the drawbacks / things that would prevent you to play one?

Cuth, you are right, I wont play a zerker on PvP, cuz I have already played one to l50 and RR4 and I love my zerker, but there are still so many other cool classes like champion/bard/chanter, sorcerer, wizzard, spiritmaster, runemaster gimpshade, infiltrator, shadowblade, the list goes on and on

I dont know if ill change permanently to PvP, well see how fun i find it to get chain-raped and chain-rape ppl, but im betting on very fun.

My only worries bout PvP is that the first days/week will really be a rush like NO other, which means my schoolwork will be lacking even more during that first period
(and no, i dont have a choice, i WILL be among the powergamers in teh beginning)

Oh, and to answer you question:

Zerkers are bad in this patch cuz crush have a nasty +dmg twards studded. (Which I found out the hard way, 811dmg from YOU cuth, grrr but that wont be a problem at PvP, there they are only vulnerable to slash, and with the epic-armour you get 15%slash.

I think id advise you to make a norseman zerker now that evade/parry get fixed, that little extra dmg output doesnt cut the cheese when u evade an extra attack. Another thing with norsemen is that Trolls are lumbering targets, I always seem to get nuked first in RvR

When you solo, be prepared to do oranges pretty simple in the earlier lvls, and soloing in spindelhalla is e-z since most mobs there have -dmg gainst studded.

Be prepared to take aggro from maintanks several lvl's higher than you

As a zerker you miss out on all the wonderful chain-loot-arguing, which has left me with very good equipment every lvl.
You also have access to two damagetypes, leftaxe/hammer.

Tranquil-: yeah, what he said, and weapon specs, well... up to now 50axe/hammer, 50Laxe, 28parry has been the only viable solution, but now that parry gets fixed 44,44,44 is starting to look better and better
The lvl 50styles blows chunks anyways

Personally, i'd like an Infiltrator/Armsman, get some nice poisons on a polearm, with a stealthed plate-wearer. That'll hurt.

i still cant see how the 50 la-style can blow

if we take a little look:

the so popular doublefrost: 34 Doublefrost High(fat usage) High(damage) Low(to hit bonus) - Anytime

the "sucky" 50la style: 50 Aurora Borealis Low(fat usage) High(damage) High(to hit bonus) - Use After Parrying Target || Heavy Atk. Spd. Buff (probably a nasty typo for debuff)

use AB all the time with DF as backupstyle....IT CANT BE CRAP

But _why_ are people speccing dex instead of quickness? zerkers get dex as a tertiary stat, why not specc quickness?

Dont forget swords also an option peeps.

Same dmg type as axe looks better and gives access to more commen drops, down side being some L axes give +Axe skill but 2 Epic weps 1 sword 1 axe roxs cold proc and a heat proc

But aye Norse is the only way 2 go and i'd say 10 quick is probley best as this is what evade is solely based on, more so as in nxt patch you can evade in a 360 degree arc so giving you a chance to dodge arrows fired in your back and also dodging annoying Pallys trying 2 hit you in the back when you trying 2 take out a class thats a threat 2 you :/ (j/k)

i'd want to put those 10 points in dexterity after all because as far as i know that is what evade is based on. that and the level of the person you are fighting.
