Its called reasonable assumption. It wasn't tested on a 2200XP, so you cannot possibly think the results are going to be similar? Course you can, they are still going to scale.

Headphones are good for online stuff, but 5.1 is so way ahead for a single player experience. (Halo, Sega GT, UT2k3). DD5.1 in games is the thing thats impressed me most in the last 2 years of the next gen consoles and similar PC products.

Love I really can't be fucked, it seems you can't understand what I saying nor can I be bothered trying to make it easier for you to understand me while it is still hot and I'm eating hot pizza. (Not in a nasty way)

You should like the voice communications. system in Unreal Tournament 2004 then, lovedaddy :) The game will ship with a 3D positional voice-comms. system. This basically means, if a team member is, say, on a ridge above you to the left and they speak into their microphone, UT2004 will alter the output of their voice so it actually sounds as if they're above you to the left.

It's completely dynamic too, so if that person starts running around you in circles whilst speaking, then their voice adjusts accordingly. Very cool technology, but I dare say it takes a heavy duty soundcard and/or processing power :)

Kind Regards

Edit ~ Be nice Emb.

Yep, I'm well looking forward to that =) UT2k3 is a wonderful piece of software for testing your system. Mathengine is a CPU killer, and they have crazy amounts of shaders and multi-pass textures everywhere, ideal for both gfx and cpu load testing =)

(plus it aint a bad game either)
