I bet he works at that engineering plant, or whatever it is, and stays over to do his own stuff. Looks pretty cool anyway.

just change the pp=1 at the end of the url to pp=20 & that sorts that out :)

Thats the kind of friend you need :) That kind of work would look very nice on a job application.

I went into a workshop recently to get two sheets of aluminium cut. They wouldn't do it as the swarf would contaminate the swarf they use, and that gets recycled, and they would lose money :(

tom, no offence but you sometimes talk about the craziest shit. its only here i can witness such things on a daily basis.

can i ask why you needed two sheets of aluminium cut? :)

For 2 valve amplifier cases which I'm making. They said that their swarf had a certain metal purity rating, and my cheapo bits of metal weren't good enough to pollute their swarf :( It wasn't a brush off either, since I'd been working there all day on a job and they'd been really good to work with.
