New Nightshade

I'll be starting a nightshade on hib / excal once the subs pages come up. Will probably join Terra Dominus as I have some old friends (pre-daoc) there.
Just wondering what advice people have in terms of spec?

I'm planning the following:
35 stealth
35 envenom
44 critical strike
39 blades
24 celtic duel
(auto training stealth to 48 - glutton for punishment)

Any comments?

thats not really a spec for a new nightshade tho more for respeccing at RR7

if u got a bot, go blades sure, but if u dont... go pierce...
if blade,
there are atleast 2 ok specs.

1.
44 blade, 44 cs, 35env, 35 stealth and rest cd.. wont be much tho with this..

2. abit more CD then the other one..
44 blade, 39 cs, 35 env, 35 stealth and rest cd.

Why 44 blades? the 44 style is one that chains off block, which obviously I wont be doing.

Seemed to manage ok to RR5 with my infil without a bot (most of the time).
Sometime you just have to use a little skill instead.

first of all nearly all the grps u try to get in are gnna turn u down. Without a buffbot soloing will take ages to get decent exp. Belive me i started a ns from 15-27 all i did was join guild grps then made a bard for quick lvling

firstly, prydwen != excal .. all stealthers here have a bot, the ones that dont get farmed.

secondly, since u pwn you should know that weaponskill is everything.. and in fact the best thing would be to have 50 weapon (+11, +rr).

I don't pwn, but I like I found playing with a buffbot boring. And I'm not getting another account for a bot.

As for groups, I'll use the same system I've always used, and make friends who want you for you not for your class.

Yes I know weaponskill is important, I was just wondering how big a difference there was between 39 and 44.

we are talking about blades... U WANT HIGH WS cos with lower then 44 it will just suck. trust meh...

Sometimes you just have to use a little bit of dragonfang..

Dragonfang is nice yes, but it's use is very limited these days.
Without a buffbot you don't evade enough to be sure of using dragonfang.
Also you can't use Backstab 2 or Creeping Death at all, or you invoke a 30 seconds stun immunity timer, and dragonfang is useles.
Personally I'd rather have the damage and forget the stun.

and still it sucks, ive been df'd ltosa times by unbuffed infs.... altho they die when stun is over ;dd

Different server diferent rolz, in prydwen you had 3 str relics, and an infil 50 weapon, x2.5 spec, etc

Here, all things are different, we said to u, gl and dont whine

Bored of Pryd. Played albion too long. Want to see some of the other realms, and not just their frontiers. Besides, while excalibur certainly does have a higher proportion of l33t kiddies and utter wankers than prydwen, there are still a lot of good people to be found also.
