New monitor

Ok, I've had a look through some of the previous threads and found this one and I like the look of the 19" version.

Basically, I'm torn. Do I get a 19" TFT monitor and enter the new digital age, or spend about £100 less and get a whacking great big 22" CRT?

Someone help me choose how best to spend my money, any any suggestions for monitors would be great.

It'll be mainly used for app work and a fuck ton of gaming, so high refresh rates, response times are what I need.

Personaly i would take samething like the Iiyama 22'' HM204DT over a TFT anyday

Unless you are planing to move the screen ;)
Yes its Big and weights a ton, but image quality will be beter than right about any TFT on the market. And Veiwable size will be bigger then any TFT on the market

unless space is a real premium, go for the 22''

Go for the CRT, to even contemplate a 22" you must have oodles of desk space.

Ok, I have enough space on my desk for a 22" and apart from the odd LAN party, maybe 3 a year, it never gets moved. 22" it is, cheers for the help guys.

Also this means I only have to wait until November for my ISA to have enough money in it, rather than January :)
