Seems like Warcraft 3 meets Dungeon Siege in a MMORPG sort of thing.

I cant quite make up my mind about the grafic, some of the sceenshots looks nice and some of them look ... funny in some way. The enterface looks ACish =)

But I must say the concept is catchy, sounds realy nice ... now lets wait and see how it turns out.

I see a few flaws though:

1) The models ... some of them look cheesy

2) there is no beta sign up !!! :touch:

3) its due to release some time late in 2004

Middle earth MMORPG was being developed a couple of years ago but got shelved, I guess the popularity of the movies has made some developer pick up the idea again. Will be a while waiting for that though.

As for Guildwars, hmmmm. Probably turn into Vaporware anyway.

I'm sceptic to a Tolkien online game for the same reasons I'm sceptic towards SWG. Just replace Jedi with Dunedain Ranger, and Bounty Hunter with Elven Archer.

Still nice that it's being developed though, and propably worth a look once it gets finished.
