Havent you noticed something yet, the "mass market" you talk about would gladly fuck off elsewhere to play for free, the "mass market" in CS would do anything possible not to play for CS. There is a chance they would when everyone goes P2P, but by then they will of forgotten about BW and will of been playing on BY/Jolt for so long they will probably sign up to one of them. The main people who would sign up for P2P would be the higher sect, they play the game a lot, and demand good service/opposition, all BW need to do is start attracting some and they will all flock. Trouble is, they prefer BY's server performance, mapcycles and community to what BW has to offer. It is very much an uphill struggle to get anyone new to sign up to BW, and those that do sign up and find that BWCS is empty almost all the time arent going to be very pleased, when they could of stayed without paying a penny on populated servers.

I hate the fact that BW doesnt have more players, I wish that more would sign up, but I cant see how they would be enticed to, if I were impartial, I wouldnt sign up either...

BW needs to do something about it all, because I dont see them getting much more populated accross the board

fy_dustworld in SG's link is not the correct version. Use www.cs-maps.co.uk to get them all. Lets hope BW get the maps on their ftp, which is somehting that should be done before adding them to the rotation.

The FY_ maps are tiny and can be downloaded from the server when you connect, it only takes a min or two

The fy_ maps on our fy_ server are all on the FTP now. They are the same versions as from cs-maps.

aye i noticed when i tried it last night "Incorrect version etc etc" so had to download it from the server

All of them can be downloaded from the server except for fy_iceworld3p, which uses a custom wad file. That could be fixed server side with resgen.

heh we just had a good few games on the Classic Maps Server, Highrise, and Arabstreets, highrise wasnt too bad, was evil on the poor ickle VIP tho
