New login problem

Hi when i try to log in with my SI client i keep getting a Error 201 message sayint that it was not possible to connect to the update server and to try again later. I hafve tried and tried. I have checked that the update file is correct and have even tried reinstalling both clients.

Anyone got any ideas?

Is your internet working? Also is it being blocked a firewall?

Confirm the values in your update.dat match

Try disabling your firewall to see if the problem persists.

If you are connecting via a campus i.e university connection make sure that the ports are enabled/open.

Thanks guys worked it out in the end, when i downloaded the updated patcher software my firewall blocked it completely instead of telling me it had changed and asking me if i wanted to let it through. Thanks for the help
