I'd recommend MSI to as said in other thread, but each to there own and all. I went the budget route and got an I5 core, HD5870card, 6gb ram, 1TB hard drive gaming laptop for half the price of similar spec'd laptops/

This machine I have now runs ALL games perfectly... But the only problem I find is that it over heats (sometimes it reaches 90 degrees) so quick and causes blue screen and shuts down... This is why I'm looking for a new (gaming machine).
Serious gaming on a laptop.... you will need to buy a monster if you don't want it to overheat.. I'd say around 1.5k to 2k ... why not just get a desktop.. be under half the price as well..
