Hello all.

My name is Dexlar DwagonBait I am a former member of Legends of Midgard.

I am writing here cause I have started a new guild that will be a primary hunt guild and secondary RvR guild.

There are alot of dungeoun bosses we still need kill and I love the social fun aspect of hunts.

My idea with my guild is to let people across alliances put their alts in this guild and we have certain days we do hunts. You main chars can still be in their original guilds...my guild just offer the possibility to learn new people to know and maybe get those 8.9.10 fg going for bossmobs.

Nice idea, but we already got too many guilds about, rather than splitting guilds up we should be joiing forces more for this kinda thing.

LFOM hunts

Well LFOM consists of what ? 6 guilds.....lately the most I could get to go was 3 fg...that aint gonna do anything.

I aint talking about splitting guilds up..I am talking about the persons that is interested put an alt in my guild..so its easier to coordinate hunts in the realm.

And Kathal if you read the draft for the new ruleset for alliance hunts in LFOM you will see in the future those hunts will only benefit 45+.....how fair do you think that is when I often saw lvl 38-42 shammies tagging along or healers.

And what do a lvl 38 healer need a TG weapon for?

When they become 45+ they will have the chance to get whatever they like (if lucky) it's been the same for all of us and its good, no need for a low lvl to walk around with something they can't use, better to have it on a lvl 45+ who can use it when its given to him. :twak:

I agree with Whoodoo and Kathal.
There are way to many small time guilds and this guild aint gonna be big enough to get 8-10 FGs m8, i'm suprized if u get even 3 FGs worth of it.
I wouldn't get into such guild, but i'm fine in TDD with the guild hunts we do. We might not be more than 1.5-2 FGs each time, but we do the job and collect crafter money without trouble.
I think the most of the other guilds have it the same way m8.

8-10 FGs should be an alliance thing and not a guild, imo if a guild can set even 8 FGs togther without problems it is way to big and there for more messy.
I would not be in a guild that big.

But GL with your idea.

Most of the hunts you organised were for 45+...
And according to duskwave, the LFOM had 601 active players.

Now if you dont like /as rules its your problem, not ours, and i remember a few times that you misused /as heavily and you were flamed out of it.

Tasans I werent flamed out of AS I choose to not use it.

And well I had 45+ hunts but I had lotsa times lower lvls on the hunts as well and THEY got drops also.

So if you think you flamed me out of /as you are seriously messed up in your head...try and get the facts straight.

And for The TDD one that wrote....you get your crafter money together rofl......

You dont even know one of the boss mobs actually drop a sword that makes warriors hit 80 % harder now do you.,.....

Good luck with your crafter money hahaha.

The problem with LFoM alliance hunts is that there are those organised by FoM which consist heavily of people dressed in green and little else, and then the ones organised by other guilds, usually dexlar, which consist of all the small guilds and very very few FoM. Thats why our alliance can never get enough people together, as far as hunts are concerned we are split into two.

OnTopic: I like the idea of this guild but I cant see it ever working.

What hunts do you think of? I think of the legion hunts thg have made with about 10fg. Fom was 2fg. Where did the other 8fg come from??

And for our crafter fund hunts, we make 10+plat in one hunt easy = all members with uber oc sc armor.
I would rather have 2 FGs with uber items than one char with that sword.


Yes, the hunts are fun. Had lots of fun on the LFoM hunts and there will be a lot more in the future.
Things are working VERY well. AB alliance, LFoM alliance, NP(with us now), RG and a lot of other guilds working together.
Working together is the what its all about and MID/Excal is doing precise that.:clap:

Information is important

I think if we would have known abou the other hunts that ain't started by FoM, becouse when someone in FoM does a hunt we always read about it on Hunts on our homepage and I only think once that I've heard that dexlar was about to have a hunt. (might be only me becouse I often hate hunting but still) Would be good if there were better info so that more of FoM knew that there was gone be a hunt :uhoh:

Ok lets look at it from the reverse angle then, name me 5 hunts within the past 6months not organised by FoM that have had more than 1fg of FoM turn up. If the organiser isnt dressed in green then you guys just arent interested.

I find out about all of dexlars hunts on the alliance forums, the ones hosted by FoM, the ones just next to your guild forums.

Well then its just me missing them, as I'm not into all that hunting atm when I can rvr all the time instead :doh:

I think the idea of a secondary RvR guild is nice, as thats pretty much what my guild are all about. But I think that calling yerself LoM is a very low blow, shows sour grapes toward your old group, and brings into serious question the validity of your credentials as a leader.

Nice idea, shame about the execution IMHO.

Well I know several hunts not arranged by FoM where over 1fg FoM attended.. so that is bullshit. Some of dexlars early hunts in TH etc.

But after those hunts he told in /as that his future hunts were going to be invite only. Because he was told to slow down on the spam in /as.

So I haven't been on a Dexlar hunt since that statement. (I even think I was banned :p )

And Xip I can't say you are so darn active on our Alliance forum, why haven't you replied to any of Dexlars topics then? .. Dexlar even cancelled a hunt because noone had answeared his post 4 hours after he posted it!?

And FoM got alot of guild only hunts to. That is announced around 1 week ahead. So sometimes the alliance hunt (FoM NOT arranged) and FoM guild hunt is at the same time.

And this discussion should be on our Alliance forum instead of BW :p

In Legends of Midgard it's allways beena joke to start a guild named Legends of midgits. I did that and I tell you...no persons in Legends of midgard is pissed about it....

So take you thoughts and shove em up.......WHen you have no idea what you are talking about, you should just keep your mouth shut *S*

Nah not mad.....I am never mad..... I just like to speak my opinion...If Redknapp thinks thats LOM's opinion on me..well he can think that..as a matter of fact I just hunted with em haha.

Vell or another GoV usually posts about the hunts on our forums, finds out how many we can get and posts that on the forums - its more efficient :p
