I suggest this to anyone sick and tired of RvR zergs and monotomous experience of 50+ game experience.
I have a skald lvl50 which i have had for about a year.
RvR at the beginning was a breeze of fresh air, and exploring the frontiers and setting up ambushes, was quite enjoyable.
However like flipping a coin after a certain patch involving RA´s.
The zerging began.
And people began charging in big bee swarm like formations.
Making a solo experience almost impossible for a warrior template.
I got bored to the point where i pretty much gave up on the game.
I took a daoc vacation.. 3 months to be exact.
Now winter hit my parts and limiting activities past 15.00 hours to indoor activities.
So i tried a new character, it became a shadowblade.
exping felt boring indeed at first, but mostly because it felt tough to start a new char from scratch.
Now i am back to my year old habits of spending lots of time on this char.
I enjoy it alot, and i have built a good friend base for this char.
makin teaming even though rogue base, quite easy.
This has kept me in daoc, and to keep enjoying it. even though it limitations.
So my sugesstion to ya all is not to make a shadowblade, but to make a completely different char that suits your idea of how to play the game.
Do you like zerging make a tank
do you like to surpress, defend make a caster
do you like solo battles make a rogue.
exping gets new and teaming is the way to make it more fun.
