New harddisk?

I need a new harddisk but i got no fucking clue what to look for i only got ide so no s-ata ..
Im no serius gamer, i only play daoc once in a while so dont need some uber hd .. I only use the computer for internet an music.

250Gb IDE HDD would do you fine then. Look for RPM/Cache memory (higher better) and read/write/seek time. (Lower better)

320GB Seagate Barracuda IDE 16MB - Aria Technology

You could give something like this a try. A good size and you can't argue with 16mb buffer. 7200rpm is pretty standard now. Its got a fairly low latency and access speed too.
