This looks like the dogs wotsits and suits my budget just fine - any opinions?
Recommended indeed, even if I dont have a 6600 card,
it is very good, and Gigabyte Technologies is a very, very good company.
"Supports PCI EXPRESS and SLI "
Not a standard pci / agp card then?
AGP is one thing, PCI is one thing
PCI-E (PCI-Express) is another thing
So if you have an AGP slot, it wont fit
You can get AGP versions of them for £120 or so, if you can't afford that the radeon 9700 pro is still a nice card for around £90.But the 6600GT is more future proof, also that one requires a pci-express supported motherboard which are fairly new, if you have one already then it's worth it.
Yes - found an agp version (in a thread a few lines down)
Thanks for replies!
