New Forum Style

Ok, so it's taken me nearly a year to get the time available to do this, but I've now created a new scheme for all our dedicated DAoC forumites. I thought I'd be nice and not force it upon you, so you will need to alter your profiles to change the scheme.

I'm sure your all aware how to do this now after the GAME.NET scheme arrived but for those who don't:

Click on the profile button in the top right.
Click Edit Options on the tabs on your profile page
Scroll to the bottom to "Style Set"
Select Dark Age of Camelot from the list.
Click update

The change may not be immediate for some users, if this is the case, close your browser and revisit the forums.

Comments welcome on the scheme.

Very nice style! Also good for the atmosphere.

Only, i would shift the pinkish background color into something more brownish.

looks good...

but I'm not sure I can let go of the green.

BW has stolen my sense of aesthetics.

Usually I object to change on Luddite like principle. But I must say, "Oooh, looks like chocolate".

Which can never be all bad.

Not quite as noticable as the Green.
So ill stick with the brown, seeing as I'm suppose to be working :(

Give "shouldn't be browsing forums" format :)

Otherwise nice job
will have this on my home computer

Trebz, it auto-changes when you click the top level DAoC forum's link, then swaps back if you go to a sub-forum. Was that intentional?

Well done, Trebz. I like it. :)

TDC has a point, tho - why not use the new style for all of the DAoC forums?

Bah, I think I could go back to the the green. I'd would've liked some that was partly black and grey. Yes, I say that one of the colors that appears in threads is more of a pink than brown.

My eyes cannot adjust to the dull tones of brown.

Need my neon green back...

Mmmm.... The pleasure it brings me when my eyes bleed...

I like the colors, _but_ I think the text and background colors are a bit too similar, makes it hard to read. Would love if you could make the background a bit darker and/or the text a bit brighter. Although if I stand alone in this I guess I'll have to go with the green :).
