Especially for those of you on Vista, nVidia have released updated Forceware drivers and have changed the format a little.
Rather than a jack of all trades everything in one bundle, they have separated into drivers for 6xxx series, 7xxx series and 8xxxx series.
These have increased performance according to a fair few people including myself, however they have NOT fixed any major game problems you will have experienced with Vista such as, well, anything by EA just not bothering to work to name a few.

Worth a look anyway.

Hmmm what's this about EA games not working? Which ones?

The only EA game I've got installed is C&C3 and that's pretty darn new :)

The performance increase you mention - is that primarily affecting vista users or is that across the board?

c&c3 didn't want to work for more than 10 minutes here with the last set of betas, although I was insanely pleased to have back my "force vsync" driver option :) :) :) :)

There's also been some newer drivers "leaked" - from those morons over at Guru3d. Unfortunately too many people are happy to use anything with a higher version number, often overlooking the fact most of them aren't made for your card and have just been tweaked (usually the .inf file slightly modified) to work across the board.

Regarding EA's iffy games - C&C3, NFS Carbon, Tiger Woods 07 are the one's im personaly having issue with, however a brief ogle at NV's and EA's forums indicate this is a much wider issue.

Personally I didn't have a problem whilst playing C&C3 under Vista, although im back in XP at the moment. THe performance increase is apparent only under Vista.
