I heard about 2 Sorcs, 4 Clerics, 1 PBT Theurg, 1 Friar doing it with those chain slaming knights. Asked about it here, people said it's not possible, but I doubt it, just need to experiment a bit with the RAs, WM5 for starters I think.

me and bubs spoke about doing this in the past. should be possible with sorc's with +25% duration... however i would advice having 2fg and have 1 cleric for every sorc

DaoC has certainly come a long way since the first Dragon raid. We already know can be done with 2fg's easy, so I think its safe to say that more experiments should be done on how to do it quicker and with less people. You dont know unless you try

Theres a movie from the US showing it being done with 1 ml9 sorc.

Been trying it on excal a few times now but had no success yet.

Damage is not a problem - the dragons health drops exceedingly fast.

The problem is having players who arn't awake - players who get caught in pbaoe and players who arnt in melee range who get glared at.

Thats when it fucks up.

One classic attempt was when our guild tried it - we got him to 49% in just over 10mins. But then some got caught in pbaoe and then adds hit us, so we wiped.

The one problem with doing it with a sorc is that you only have one attempt at it - once you've lost the pet its game over.

Imo you need

1.sorc - ml9, WM5 (bonus), also get +25%duration
2.theurg - pbt, BAoD (bonus) especially at 49%
3.cleric - as many tricks as poss e.g. FoP, DI, PR
4.cleric - as many tricks as poss e.g. FoP, DI, PR
5.cleric - as many tricks as poss e.g. FoP, DI, PR
6.cleric - as many tricks as poss e.g. FoP, DI, PR
7.friar - red heat resist
8.??? - not decided on the 8th player really, maybe pala or a 2nd ml9 sorc. Prob with 2 ml9 sorc is that Gol can drop really fast meaning little time to recover between pbaoes if you get caught out but after 49% you can go to town on him.
