Well any games on your system that use direct x will use the latest version u have. Now personally I always get the latest version. Hence all my games using dx use dx8, so the new drivers help.

But just for you Wij i will go do a 3dmark2000 benchie to.

Okay WIj, I got 5164 3dmakrs in 3dmark2000, thats lower than with my 7.58 dets BUT as I stated before my actually games have improved, and 3dmark2000 does not test dx8 only dx7 so its outdated.

I dont use coolbits myself, that will upset people that do I suppose.

Nvidia do say on their site that there is no support for this driver, whcih does strike me as odd. In the past they have never put up drivers without any support before. Okay so they rushed these out, but I am finding them the best I have ever used (in real gaming experiences, fuck synthetic benchies). Maybe would have been wise for them to keep hosting the 6.50 det drivers on their site though.

I am just waiting for tweakers asylum to add these laters drivers to their win 9x section of the det guide. They did it for win2k, the 12 series dets are seriously faster in their benchies (unreal tournament, quake 3 and some synthetic).
