Think its about time to upgrade my 2400+

Was wondering if anybody wantet to help abit with what would be good to buy since i got no clue about it

I use my computer to watch movies, play music, browse the internet , chat an play daoc thats about it.

Really dont wanna go out an buy something uber because thats really not what i need.. my budget is around 90-180 £

its a crap asrock motherboard with agp x4 (no not 8) with a amd athlon 2400+ cpu, 1024 ddr ram, radeon 9600 xt atlantis 256 mb

save up 500-600 and buy a new system after the new dx10 cards become more established
Dont take it the wrong way but its a waste to put more money into that system

On a serious note, if you really want to upgrade, you'll have to buy a new mobo, new CPU (3500+ minimum), new memory and a new grafix card.

Think £180 is a bit limited tbh

proberly but i dont really use my computer for gameing an stuff that needs a uber com so for me its really a waste of money to put 500-600 into something i wont even be using

You could easily get a 60£ mobo with socket 939, agp AND pci-e, and DDR ram and a 939 cpu of your choice.

Should stay within your budget. Maybe 15-20 over if you choose a X2 cpu (wich i would )

Pretty sweet that they are so backwards compatible
