Anyone catch Thumb Bandits on Channel 4 last night?


Not bad, but still not as good as Game-pad on Bravo.

yes, it had stupid women from bits tho which let it down slightly cos she pisses me off :/

otherwise it was a good show, however, it wasnt too up-to-date

My m8 watched that.. and he said it was shit.. they reviewed Max Payne apparently.. bit late innit?

yeah they reviewed MAx payne and gave it a very acurate review. They said it was crap, as it was a poor story line and repetative as the novelty of the bullet time wore off after about 3 seconds (in bullet time).
Which was exactly what I said about a month ago. hmmmm

Max Payne is a good game, didn't think so many ppl disliked it..

I saw that review and thought it pretty harsh. Looking at the footage of Max Payne made me realise how f'king good that engine is. It would have made a great multiplayer game even without bullet time (which I never got bored of, btw)

Still stands as the best single-player game ever, imo. Beats the crap out of Half-Life.

I recently played MP again on the next difficulty level. It was OK. Only took 2 nights. The KungFu mod was OK for 5 minutes too

Its one of thoose games that neeeded to be longer.

Im sure it would not have been hard once the engine was in place to extend the story line, or have another tale after the main one.

Also the dream sequence bits got fucking annoying.
