So my chair is on the way out - it no longer goes up and down and the padding in the arse has lost it's plumpness. It's a good 10+ years old, so it's time to change.

Now, I know there's a lot of love for Herman Munster chairs, but I'm not sinking a grand into a chair, so I've looked at some others. Any recommendations? Currently looking at this:

Vertagear Racing Series S-Line SL5000 Gaming Chair Black/Carbon Edition

This guy seems to love it:

Pvc leather wont last long and you will be looking for a new onw in a couple of years. Fabric or real leather.

That's a good point, it was niggling in my head.

Ended up with the Vertagear SL5000 - so far, brilliant. Very supportive, built like a tank. The PU Leather will be good for wiping things off, because reasons.
