OK, I has an audi a8 2.8 sport which a deer attacked & destroyed. So now I have to get a new car but can't decide which. I want a nice car, £10 - £15k and mybe 40 - 80k on the clock depending on the make (my audi had 80k and it drove like new). So here's a chance to chip in with 2c and maybe even say how good/bad your experience was with them.

PS I have 2 kids so no sports cars. And bloody hell were you camping this board tris?

lexus is200 all day long ...had one from new for last 3 years and only 1 problem the clutch went after 50k miles but then again i do drive in the city every day and so always stuck in traffic so doesnt matter what car it is im lucky it lasted so long.. Lexus changed it under warranty .. pal has a ford focus 24k miles 2yr old and clutch went and had to pay out £700 coz they said warranty doesnt cover clutches... i skuffed the alloys up a bit on curbs and lexus even changed them under warranty

minor service costs £120 and major one is about £220.

most ive seen are kept v well and it is just a amazing drive. all gagets you could wish for and now a new model is out i bet yd get a great car for 15k

Ford Mondeo St 220, just bought a 2.0 tdci Zetec S myself being my first car I thought I would try and be sensible.

Gotta say I love it spacious, comfortable, looks good, fairly nippy aswell. My next car is definately going to be the next model up which is the ST220 they just look fucking great.

something to deflect low flying deer i'd suggest a hummer.

or if your feeling fruity maybe a pontiac firebird :worthy: not going to save you from mammalian attack but at least when people drive past theyll be thinking "man thats one sexy wreck!"

Buy a brand new Audi A3 the new front end beats any other car for the money looks wise.

Or get the old ford focus RS its a nicer drive than the new one :) Old focus shape > new focus shape (maybe because i have a old one ;) )

It's got to be a Porsche 924 Carerra GT

IMO save up some more cash. You won't be disappointed. Awesome performance ! Lovely drive.

Well, would've voted for "other car", but with an option like "Get yerself one of them nice little Puntos or summat" i couldn't resist.

Crap choices.

I notice S Type Jaguar is on the list - you might as well just put Ford Mondeo :)

lol :)

Voted other. RS6, RS4 or S4. Yummy. My parents both drive Saabs. 9-5 Griffin (3L V6 with 200bhp) and 9-3 Sport Sedan (1,8L 115bhp zzz). Both very comfy cars but I'd say you get more if you buy german. Also, in a Saab you have very limited options stereo-vice if that matters.

Nah...

I've had my Scooby 7 years now and mechanically, I couldn't fault it...

Interior wise leaves a lot to be desired though, it's very plain, boring and functional. Ok, you'll enjoy the acceleration but the interior lets it down big time :(
