Seems to me that most links now replace the existing window rather than opening another and I need to click the Back button to go to the BW webby. Is this a sneaky way of getting more hits on the main pages ;)

Another little 'funny'!

I think this may have been there before the webbie changed to the new version, but here it is anyway..

If I go to the messageboards, I see which threads have been updated, or added, since my last visit...fairynuff.

If I read a thread, and then go back to the 'main' forum screen, the one's I have yet to read are still showing themselves as 'updated'. Again...as expected.

Now, if I read a thread, and click on a link in the message (which opens a new window), and then return to the main forum screen...all the threads have been set to 'not updated' (If you see what I mean). So, unless I look at times and dates, I have no idea which threads have been added, updated since my last visit.

Again this 'bug@ is not a big deal, but you asked for them! :D

No, hitting the back button pulls the page from your cache so there isnt an extra hit on the site. If you want to open a new window just hold down shift when you click.

We've had an equal number of ppl liking/disliking the fact that links open a new window. It might be something that we can set as a preference in membership in the future but for now we have gone back to the single session linkage as the shift+click thing is available for new windows.

Yes, its not simple, the slight problem being now that the menu's are contained in an MTS dll and the forums are running on a linux box :) Oh dear... Might haveto be some kind of frames hack, i'll look into it
