Sorted my problem

These drivers sorted out my problem with the ATI Radeon 9700.

Could have been an issue running paralell with my 1GB Ram causing problems, as removing one 512MB stick made the problem not as severe but was still causing the GFX-card to be buggy.

Thanks for the post... I was having the same problems with my radeon 9000 and the new drivers seem to have done the trick
