The latest rumours I've heard said an October release for Ice Cream Sandwich and the Samsung Nexus Prime running it. Hope so, my phone is on its last legs but I'm holding out until these are on the market.

I received 2.3.6 today. Big increase in the amount of RAM available for applications.

Not fucking about with mine until I have finished final fantasy 7,8 and 9 and probably the resident evil series too.

It works just fine as it is. Upgrading andriod on my galaxy ruined it.

Wasn't there some talk of the newer versions of Android removing tethering? If so, i'll stick with Froyo for the foreseeable future thx

All sorted, that was an earlier update which they canned as soon as they heard about those problems.

2.3.6 does remove pinch to zoom on the gallery app though.

Still on 2.3.4 on my SGS2, works fine atm, so see no need to change (Litening Rom).

Seems Nexus Prime is on hold for the moment.
