Dont check yourself against mau's cause when i got my GSV, i wasnt neutral with normal Maus, but i was with Tey's camp

check yourself with the sphynx to the north of the Setian camp (i think you get the quests of him not sure) he will tell you if you have enough faction or not

i got the same problem.

But ive done it about 9 times so far :eek2:

did 1 quest 3 times other 4 times and killed around 20 or so

Just get someone else to go pick up the vest(that's neutral/friendly to Mau's) while you stand stealthed and afk outside the camp.

Voila!

Never did the faction quests just levelled Nailahs on Setians

i had teh same problem but on non - Teys camp maus. if u have killed some many setians go check at teys camp. it should work now gl

Finally! 2.5 bubs into 49......Mau Love Jaymee 4 eva!.............farmed 50 wings last night on necro went and saw Tey bing!! 10 minutes later theres the vest............eh walah one happy Scouty!

If someone knows what mob drops Shaitan Wind Bracer (I know that its ML7 mob but which one?) can you let me know please thanks

An alturnative way of doing it instead of spending hours farming for faction, is to find a friend thats been farming them for scrolls or whatever reason and already has nice faction with them, simply ask him/her to hand in the scarab wings for you while your stealthed close to them.

Quite time saving if he/she doesn't require the artifact on that char.
